Speckled joints were originally created for the resin bound customers to flow with their aggregates. With terrazzo tiles becoming more popular we quickly realised speckled joints would be perfect for those too. Intrusive grey expansion joints are a thing of the past when it is so easy to produce a bespoke speckled effect.

4 SIMPLE STEPS

The process is simple - just follow the four following steps to create your own, bespoke patterns and fittings.

1. SEND US YOUR TILE OR AGGREGATE PATTERN


Simply post us a small sample of the tile that you're using and include your contact details.

If it is a resin aggregate that you're wanting to match, let us know a brand name and colour before posting as we hold a wide range of samples here in the warehouse.

2. WE MATCH TO YOUR PATTERN


Once we have received the sample, production will carefully select the correct colours starting with a background and adding the relevant speckles to create the perfect match.

3. CHOOSE YOUR METAL FINISH


ALUMINIUM based profiles are the most commonly used because they provide both excellent movement and good edge protection. They are suitable for heavy foot fall and soft-wheeled transport – ideal for car showrooms.

STAINLESS STEEL based profiles share the same benefits and movement accommodation as aluminium but have greatly increased strength allowing for greater load bearing and other stresses. They are ideal for use in workshops, factories and warehouses where hard-wheeled traffic such as forklift trucks are used. Stainless steel is non corrosive which makes it ideal for areas where hazardous chemicals are present such as car workshop areas, and food and drink production areas where vigorous cleaning takes place.

BRASS based profiles are rarely used but can be required for aesthetic reasons.

4. ENJOY THE END PRODUCT


Colour matched Speckled Joints once fitted will blend perfectly into the floor giving a clean, flowing finish. Specifications require beautiful aesthetics in conjunction with robust durability.
