EDINBURGH LUXURY HOTEL'S CIRCULAR TERRAZZO FLOORING

The design concept from Keppie included unusual circular brass inlays for the beautiful Terrazzo flooring. Terrazzo is a composite material that is poured in situ. It consists of chips of marble, quartz, granite, and glass. The challenge was to intergrate our products seamlessy into the opulent surroundings.

DAROCO RESTAURANT, LONDON

The level of detail is obviously challenging, and includes concealed doors, handmade tiles and circles of mosaics! Arctile provided the tiles and Dural were asked to supply the trim to complement such a complex project!

The ‘architectural’ look remains to be a rising trend, thanks to some of our fave television shows. Large format tiles make it possible to replicate these dramatic looks in our own homes. Still on trend and here to stay!

The client’s brief was to renovate an outside terrace area. They hoped to achieve a seamless finish, giving the outside area of the property a professional and contemporary feel whilst being hard wearing and practical.

TRIMS COLOUR MATCHED TO GOLD SWITCHES AND SOCKETS

The client chose a beautiful, delicate pink tile in a fashionable metro shape. Instead of matching the trim to the tile colour, the client wanted to emphasise their lovely choice of brushed gold socket fittings and tap.

POWDER COATED TRIMS MATCH BATHROOM FITTINGS

A contemporary, industrial bathroom with an ultra modern in feel. The freestanding bath sits on a perfect white floor, and the bathroom furniture is super gloss white - in stark contrast with the large scale wall tiles.

CUSTOM POWDER COATED TRIMS

The client’s inspiration was the luxury brand Mandarin Stone. The bathroom is contemporary in feel. It features a beautiful freestanding bath on a high quality patterned hexagonal tiled floor.

SLATE GREY TRIMS MATCH FLOOR TILES

The client’s brief was to seamlessly join two areas of tiled flooring, one upstairs and one down. They wished for a seamless flow throughout, giving the stairwell a light and airy feel whilst being hard wearing and practical.

Dural are proud to have been asked to provide flooring accessory solutions for many high end retailers and fashion brands. Here we highlight the very prestigious project that took place at Harrods, London.

ADAM SMITH THEATRE, KIRKCALDY, SCOTLAND

The Adam Smith Theatre is currently closed for a major refurbishment and Dural are delighted to be part of the project. The redevelopment of the Adam Smith theatre has been a major capital investment by Fife Council who have worked in conjunction with architect Gavin Turner.

LEEDS TRAIN STATION, YORKSHIRE

Leeds Railway station is the mainline railway station serving the city centre of Leeds. Dural worked in conjunction with Northern Star flooring to renovate a section of floor within the new south entrance concourse.
